During the completion of her M.B.A., Ms. Ellsweig decided to pursue the practice of law as her second profession. While attending Widener University School of Law, she served as a research assistant and taught classes in research methodology. She also became a member of Phi Delta Phi and earned Dean's Honors List. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Ellsweig became a law clerk to the Honorable Edward D. Reibman, Lehigh County Court of Common Pleas, from March 2000 to December 2001. In 2002, Ms. Ellsweig became a law clerk to the Honorable Renée Cohn Jubelirer of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania and eventually served as Judge Cohn Jubelirer's senior law clerk.
Ms. Ellsweig has an extensive background as a financial analyst and in information/computer services. Before law school, she was one of three founders of a consulting company which provided support for information systems targeted to not-for-profit organizations, and worked with a large national company performing detailed accounting and customization of its information system to automate financial analysis and accounting functions. She has assisted a number of local hospitals in developing, managing and implementing information systems and software.
A member of the Board of Trustees of Cetronia Ambulance Corps, Ms. Ellsweig is a long-time resident of the Lehigh Valley. She concentrates her practice in real estate law, business and corporate law, appellate matters and estate planning and administration.
